Not ready to go, just yet.

Death calls for me

I refuse to go

Yet, I hear him whispering my name

Why won’t he let me be?

Need more time.

Enough to see my son happily married

Hold my first grandchild.

Is that too much to ask?

Just give me a few more years

then we can meet on friendlier terms.

No, I’m not ready.

It can’t be my time.

Not yet.
